Charming pink-white flowers provide a showy spring display, then produce large, showy red fruit with exceptional flavor and crispness. Great for fresh eating, cooking or pressing for cider. Green Giant Arborvitae Thuja standishii x plicata 'Green Giant' The green giant arborvitae is a large, vigorous, fast-growing evergreen shooting up by as much as 3 feet per year until maturity. Its natural pyramidal to conical form boasts dense, rich green foliage that darkens or bronzes slightly in the winter.

Beardtongue - Harlequin Magenta

Bellflowers are a diverse group of plants that come in many sizes and varieties. This is America's favorite snacking Apple! Prepare yourself for an extra crunchy, mildly sweet, flavorful apple; home grown Red Delicious are much tastier than those you will find in the supermarket. Vigorous trees produce lots of juicy, sweet fruit that keeps well. Harvest in September and October. Recommended chilling: 900 hours. Deciduous.

A tough and adaptable North American native with a profusion of small white flowers in spring, followed by shiny purple-black, showy berries that will persist throughout winter, and brilliant red fall foliage. This low-growing, mounding, deciduous shrub is excellent for use as a groundcover or edging, and tolerates a range of soil and climate conditions.

Aronia/Chokeberry

Enjoy up to five months of blooms with this wonderful selection! Large flowers appear in April, then rebloom in early July, continuing through fall until hard frost. Even high summer temperatures don't stop this beauty from producing loads of late summer and fall flowers. The evergreen foliage is disease resistant, and maintains excellent color year-round. Performs well in containers. Great for borders, foundation plantings and woodland gardens.

Orange-red sheaths at each node add color to the green culms (stems) of this well-contained plant. A perfect specimen for smaller gardens and courtyards. Attractive mid-sized tree with showy, pale pink flowers in spring followed by tasty, bright golden fruit. Enjoy crisp, juicy apples fresh off the tree or for cooking. Golden Delicious is a good pollenizer for other apple varieties. Harvest in late September to early October. Recommended chill: 600-700 hours. Deciduous.

Shimmering emerald green foliage with a classic narrow, pyramidal form make the emerald arborvitae attractive in all seasons. And unlike other arborvitaes, this cultivar keeps its lustrous color even in the cold winter months. The slow-growing emerald arborvitae is great for specimen or accent planting, hedges, privacy screens, and shelterbelts. It also makes a good foundation plant.

Bamboo - Red Clumping

Berberis thunbergii  'Atropurpurea Nana' is one of the most commonly grown types. It offers purple foliage through the summer that turns bold red in fall. It grows 3 feet tall and wide. Zones 5-8

Barberry - Crimson Pygmy

A vibrant golden barberry with a compact form. Attractive foliage has an orange cast most of the season. Provides excellent contrast with green-leaved plants, and brings warm color to low hedges, foundation plantings and formal gardens. Deciduous.
